D.UPdate

Hi all ^.^ Figured I might as well update this seeing as I have the time!
Does anyone use LJ anymore? I think I might have to migrate to wherever has a more active userbase with lots of disposable cash ^.^

Anywhere, here are some D.UP dresses so far! Simple designs, to judge materials for weather and wear.

Black JSK / White cotton petti /Red bib-neck JSK

The cotton petti is nice and warm for winter dress wear! Not as puffy as a tulle underskirt would be, but it's warm and soft, and still gives a nice shape under light material. Both JSK's are cotton lightweight material, and can be worn either alone or with a blouse.

I realised today, meeting some of fraye's friends, that I'm really out of touch with humanity.
And, I may have enjoyed it.

Basically, they were chatting about Waicon (I think? Something cosplay-esque) and asked me "aren't you an anime freak?" and my (very blunt) response was "sure I am, I just don't act like it".
I dunno, I guess their faces and the way they snubbed me after that made me feel guilty for expressing a legitimate point. Like, it wasn't hi who are you, how do you know fraye, it was something about cosplay... and I guess, they were trying to bring me into the conversation, but it more made me feel like, if I wasn't into it, they weren't going to bother with me. This is why I hate women. But yeah, I just feel like people these days still base themselves entirely on what they are interested in, rather than who they are? /shrug.
It's like fashion, it's just a few guidelines, it's not a religion. Or, just because you like bright colours, doesn't mean you can't have depression, stuff like that.
In better news, I finished a cpl of lolita dresses. Seeing Sweeney Todd made me wanna focus more on the victorian aspect of it, but atm I'm trying to get my sewing betterer. I can spell, I just felt like using that word. Betterer . Will look at the fashion aspect later, when I can sew a neckline straight. :D

Oh btw, Dave, I think your email is broken, I keep getting a "permanent error" that your mailbox doesn't exist ^_^ Come say hi.

Also, I need webspace and a domain name, to start with the store! Trying to get all my business forms done T_T

/sigh

I think I'm really getting bored of the internet... Almost everything but Gaia and MSN have been unused for months.. Even webcomics don't have the same ability to enthrall me.
Blogging got boring first, because no-one reads it, then WoW, then everything else. These days I'm using Gaia very little, and AFKing from MSN a lot. I replaced the internet with sewing for a while, but now that I have to get off my ass and set up the overlocker my energy just went *kersplat*. Also, has anyone else been sleeping really shoddily since daylight savings kicked in? My sleep pattern has been terrible since last sunday...

P.S Apparently "shoddily" is an actual word, according to the LJ spellcheck that happens during these posts O_o

Anger Days

Sometimes I swear that the main reason I will never be a fashion designer is because I think most of the people interested in Lolita are idiots, and I'm slowly alienating myself from most of them.

"This may be crossing into cosplay"
NO SHIT. Hate to point this out to you, but your ENTIRE style is a -form- of cosplay. Just because you aren't dressing directly as a specific charcter, it is STILL COSTUME. /Shudder. When I was a kid I really loved Alice in Wonderland, and wanted that blue dress in the Disney version, to dress like Alice. It wasn't a fashion, but it wasn't me pretending to be her. It was just something I thought was nice and wanted to wear, and be like her.
That's like making yourself an Evangelion Plugsuit that isn't the same colour as Shinji's, then talking and acting different and saying its a fashion. You might be right, but it's still Cosplay. Look at the word carefully, and realise where you got the idea, and the fact you suddenly eat more tea cakes, and have picnics. Saying it's not, would just make you look retarded, and yet lolitas try get away with it.

/annoyed.

Meeting random lolitas at the Cannington Spotlight is fun. Mum and I were discussing petticoats and a girl randomly asks if I want to learn how to make one - My response "hell yes and I love you", so she proceeded to explain, and draw it in complete detail <3 much love! so we end up discussing Lolita and anime etc XD and now I am stalking her on LJ (I kid, I'm allowed to follow!) She also tells me more about the Gosuroli patterns, explained sizes and stuff (hopefully she didn't think I was calling her fat when I asked if she had to use LL size T_T... I swear it was just a question to western women in general.)

I also have a few meters of pattern making stuff, and some cheap cotton to mock up some stuff with. So far I'm just messing with a minihat design. Definately will need interfacing.

And my wig is coming soon! Plus hopefully mum can convince her boss to take me on as her lvl 1 gopher at work. Need to abuse the current status of the Aussie dollar (aka it being worth shitloads. Anyone ordering from overseas really should do it now!)

Oh yes. After much searching and copious paper cuts from the cardboard boxes, I found my PS2, FF12, and my memory cards. I may cry with happy.
Especially seeing that this machine has (prepare yourself!) an ON BOARD graphics card (I'm assuming it has one at all seeing as I can play solitare XD). I couldn't even play American McGee's Alice which I was so excited about finding T_T. WoW won't even install, and I'm thinking neither will Guild Wars. I'll try AoE:2 later, but guessing that will crap out also. Much sadness. At least I have Final Fantasy, which I will be able to obsess over again once Nana has left, and the TV isn't constantly on daytime television (oh god, soap operas. MY EYES.)
Found CS2 and Macromedia @_@ HUZZAH! Plus I have Inkscape for when I figure out how to use real vector programs. Now if I can only find my graphics tablets install CD, so I can manœuvre over more than 3" square of the tablet.

Awesome, instead of applying for uni, and sitting my public sector recruitment test, mum decided we should babysit my niece while my sister went and got drunk. I was ok with babysitting because I thought we'd only be an hour or so, and that my sis was doing something important.
Nope.

So now I have nothing to do for a year.

So, now that I'm on drugs, I have to keep a diary of the symptoms I go through and such. A lot of these are just from my body/brain but I'm guessing a few are from the drugs. If anyone on msn catches me doing something a lot (well saying something, or notice that I talk about something a lot) can you tell me? I may be missing things.

Gotta get a business proposal drawn up and such. Might be able to get random funding, not to mention all the work done for me XD Gotta love "contacts".

Speaking of contacts, I can't afford coloured ones anymore :( I really wanted to get them T_T.

This week on Rinse-tv

So, had another complete breakdown that ended with mum having to call the cops to get me to unlock myself from the bathroom. Gotta say, they're useless, and I mofo hate female cops. Srsly, shut up wench, you're not a counselor.
/calm.
Then we went to Bentley hospital (the mental section) where a "lovely" indian doctor decided that everything she said needed to be repeated 5 times, with different versions of information, and then not tell us what was going on.
So, we went to an MD/practitioner. You know, one of the normal dotorbs in a clinic.
Within 5 min he gave me 3xpacks of 75mg efexor. I love him. None of this bullshit 10mg crap.

Sadly this means I had to quit my job :( sigh. Still hoping I'll be well enough to get into school next year though.

Also, I did the naughty thing to celebrate my un-sanity: I bought goth clothes ^_^ BESERK Clothing have great customer service. Fleur is helpful and will answer any questions you have very fast! I bought mini shorts and a tshirt, which will hopefully be here soon, will do an update when they get here ^_^. I was just sad that they're ending this years stock, because a lot of the stuff I wanted isn't in my size :( But they're bringing out collection 4 mid-october. Can't wait :D Really beautiful but not "overly" dark designs, pretty tasteful and neat for a lot of gothic/alt stuff I've seen.

And anyone looking for shoes:
T.U.K Shipping costs are 48USD/58USD/68USD for 1/2/3 pairs respectively to australia.
Gotica are based here in Perth, and Nita has told me by email "We run an ongoing special of "Buy 3 pairs and get the 4th pair free" to the lesser or same value of purchased items. So if you have any friends who are interested in the Pleaser range it might be a great time to find out if they want to go halves with you (of course if you're like me I would buy 4 pairs for myself)." ... "As I am based in Perth, I am happy to organise pickup/drop off for purchases." << huzzah. I'm not too sure on most prices (the site isn't up and running entirely yet) But Nita is willing to answer (fast too!) questions on pricing, and place orders already. But sadly, she orders direct from the UK, which makes it a little slow. I'm not sure how much slower than other sites though, probably not much :D
Oh btw, the pair I asked for a price for were thigh high thick heeled boots, and were quoted at 120, so it might actually work out pretty cheap for most stuff ^_^

I love South African accents. Don't ask me why. I was reminded about this by the actor who plays Baal on Stargate SG1, Cliff Simon.

Also, I'm oddly obsessed with egg sandwiches, I always have a stock of hard boiled eggs in my fridge. If you use Kewpie Mayo instead of regular stuff, it's sooo good ^_^

Love Hina is awesome anime. Well drawn, consistent, hilarious and the love scenes are typically japanese-funny with lots of blood noses and embarrassing "falling and grabbing her boobs" instead of mushy. Not as Happy with Negima

Sigh, I have to choose what I'm studying next year, and where. It's kinda hard to make a massive choice :( Mike is sending me the course guides for Sydney Uni's and TAFE (because for some reason, we don't get them here, only the Melbourne ones.)
Chosing between:

Clothing Production : as some of you know, I really would like to make lolita clothing ^_^ and maybe open my own store one day that actually stocks decent stuff, rather than the half baked things australia seems to get.

Graphic Design : What can I say, I'm an artist.

Languages : Totally useless to get a job with :( Unless I combine it with a teaching or hospitality thing.

Web Design : So many people are doing this these days, and IT is where all the jobs are at.

Mike is rerolling horde! The traitor! He got sick of the scrub guilds on Barth but can't go to a real guild because they're all scarily hard core on the alliance side. So he's transferring his horde toons to another account, and onto Barth with all his old WoW buddies.

If he ganks me, I'll kill him.
Hope he's still doing my cloth cooldowns in my internet absence!

On a lighter side, I'v been watching some pretty bad movies lately. Not even TV crap, it's mums collection XD.

Also: Hot topic are having a 25% shoe sale! I am such a huge massive fan of T.U.K Shoes it's not even funny. A store in sydney had some ripoffs, but they were such bad quality and just as expensive as ordering from the US @_@. You can order from overseas but your credit card billing address has to match your mailing address for anything you order.

x-posted to Sugarloli

Perth - I be here.

Yes, I'm back there. Figured I would post some shiz instead of having to repeat it 40x :P

So: I have moved back to the Mouth of Hell. So far, mum's house is still the way I left it except there is a washing machine and aircon/heater :D Huzzah for this small mercy. I'm not allowed to pick on her, because instead of just going "I know, I'm a slacker" she says "you're the same" Cos she's lived with me and/or paid attention for the last 2 years /bitch. So I'm just going to surrepticiously clean her stuff after I'm done with my room, which after it's painted this weekend (again, hopefully), shouldn't take too long.

Mike isn't picking up his damn phone or being online /shakefist. I'm not worried at all, I swear...

She also hasn't looked into that whole getting me a job thing, thanks. Has already told me I like to argue.. Kinda needs to learn that you can discuss things in a negative way and it's not called arguing. I'm kinda glad I left for so long, made me change a lot and realise that I was just influenced by her too much, hopefully I won't revert. If I do, I'll just prob Barry into buying a house and live there with cheap rent (plz).

No plans as of yet for here really, but I do need to get the heck out of this house, so ppl feel free to invite me to shiz. Realised this place isn't all that scary. Not scared about meeting all the rejects I left to get away from.]

x posted to Sugarloli - a Myspace

We still love you Fraye.
Seem to be having a rough time based on your last LJ entry :(

Anyhoo, meant to go shopping today, hopefully we'll make it out (normally we don't due to me having no clean clothes, or mike deciding he wants a lazy day). Looking for pretty much entire new wardrobe, which will probably rape my money supplies :( but I do need:

1. A jumper
2. A coat
3. A new jacket
4. More jeans
5. Nice casual outfits, better than jeans and a tshirt tho
6. Sneakers/joggers/etc
7. A scarf and gloves.
Also want to find a nice skirt to wear over leggings. Might do the "new" aka 80's thing and get tweed shorts. Whoo.

Other than that, keeping my eye out for my normal accesory-needs. Yes, I have a legwarmer addiction.
Decided I'm going to give in and probably just buy lots of black/grey clothes and go mod this year, or go nuts and go all FRUiTS on you all. Gogo J-fashion. Depends what I find.

I think Maria has broken the interweb with constant phone calls/webcam to India.

Realised today that I missed applying for TAFE, gj me thinking it was the 27th today. People think its all cool to not have anything to do, but it really isnt, it screws up your time-judgement.
So now, self study :(

Also:
@Tormsen, how did you get your korean placement? Is there such a thing as a non-dodgy ESL teaching placement company or are all of them really badly advertised?

@ MY father: Useless dude, cant be that hard to email me a cpl names/give ppl my email.

No my dad doesnt read this, but he also DOESNT READ HIS EMAIL FOR THE LAST YEAR.

Edit: yay my asiajam stuff got sent :O just 7-21 days to go.

PAIN.

I think I'm getting stalked again. Randoms are posting in my LJ, and I'm getting email from navy boys. Altho at least he's learning how to type and be polite, tho that might be because all his emails get read before getting sent out, gogo censors.

My uterus MOTHERFUCKING HURTS. I spent the last 3 hours sweating and hurting in bed. I'm in a shiteload of pain atm but attemtping to block it out by frying myself with the heater and reading LJ entries by people more interesting than myself.

Seriously, painful. Considered ringing mike at work and telling him to come home early but there's not much point seeing as nothing can stop it, itll just make him look like a kicked puppy.

Ordered some stuff from asiajam.com, I gotta say, shopping in australia does suck at times. Considering ordering from Better Better Day off ebay, does anyone know if this stuff is good quality? All its feedback is pretty good, but eyewitness testimonies pwn.

Oh yeah, finally met Kittens and Sar from Barthilas <No Dice>, was amusing to see Harry get accosted by crack hoes before me, I guess this means he's prettier :(

My uterus really fucking hurts. Really. It's indescribable. It hurts so much I'm trying to spell correctly just because it takes a lot of concentration, which takes focus away from my uterus.

Gotta go lay down and scream a bit now.

Bring on more hacking. But no, don't.

Well this morning I recieved an email with "requested information" about an account >_< Yeah, nice to see I'm not getting hacked anymore. I think it was an attempt to show me "someone" knows my acccount details, but meh its an old photobucket account :P Can't do much without the new one and the new password ^_^. Cute that I'm still in peoples thoughts tho, its kinda like how after that whole Damon incident my LJ was still being watched and talked about by everyone who i wouldnt spit on if they were on fire. That always gave me such a happy.

Anyhoo, Off to the zoo today barring massive accidents such as my clothes on the line not being dry. Will post pics :D of fuzzy fuzzy animals. So if anyone knows a good photojournal site thingy please tell me. Id like to be able to do comments on each pic if possible.
Also :
Planning on going to Octoberfest this year in Germany :3
And Japan next ... september?

Mmmm warmb.

I've noticed something... everyone that posts in the NPD family community -always- uses massively florid language, or an abnormal text size/colour/font, and no-one ever comments on each others posts.... /sigh.

Anyhoo, Back to -my- post biznitches.
1. Finally stopped being depressed over certain retards, thank god.
2. My stuff is back in perth, yay. Mum is whining about the thousands I owe her. Bleh.
3. Mike is asleep behind me and we're moving out ^_^. 1 Month anniversary the other week, which he forgot T_T. "Oh its our anniversary isnt it.." after me asking what was the date. No presents :( I'm expecting better this month. Going to the zoo tuesday! Currently trying to not get really annoyed when he ignores me for WoW >_< My priest is at lvl 42. Need my own computer!!!!
4. Grr at Tormsen for having the mad skills to gtfo of the country. Jealousy abounds. Yelling at my dad atm to start acting like my father and frikken help me.
Sitting here in front of the heater with the flu/insomnia/something again....

I should check my LJ more often.

<3

Hmm, did anyone happen to notice when that whole spiel I wrote on Jason and his badness dissapeared? Because I've been offline, and not near a computer for days. Looks like the wench is really trying to prove he had access to my passwords.
Edit: ok, so while he was "using my account because it was the last way to reach me" *cough email cough* looks like he deleted some stuff, whoo. GJ, make yourself look worse while youre at it.

Sooo, currently trying to get my wow account back, or at least a cpl characters and move them onto a new account. Staying with Mike, who is prodding me into normalacy, and stuff. vMight just go change all my passwords now, seeing as its pretty damn obvious hes got them and is willing to fuck with them.

If anyone was wondering, the reason I havent been online the last week, is because I was in a Salvation Army safehouse, because mum freaked out real bad that Jason almost destroyed the phone. That was fun. Old religious ppl ftw.

Fun. Find the sarcasm.

I don't think I've ever made a most that got so many comments as last nights research topic ^_^ Thanks for everyone who supplied info.

Onto more boring news,
The trucking guy that came to my door today spoke the worst english I have ever heard.
Him: "I pick up, how many?", then when I asked him for paperwork/ID he says "I go down, take with me?", ie he wanted to go down to his truck with a box, and hten bring back paperwork. WTF I'm not giving you my stuff without knowing if you're even from the people I think you are. So he says "I go down"

Half an hour later, I ring my mum. Seriously, I asked him for ID and he scarpered. Wasn't wearing any company logo, didn't have any paperwork or ID onhand, and didn't even know how many boxes he was meant to pick up. No way was I handing over anything.
So now, therye coming monday, which throws so many spanners in the works. My flight -leaves- monday. Schro has to be there 1.5 hours before she has to go off, so that makes it I have to be there 11:30.
Oh, and because the hpone was "magically" knowcked behind the TV and now isn't allowing or reciving calls, mum called the cops because she couldn't contact me, and now theyre all getting the salvation army involved. Mums a little obsessed with this idea, she knows 1. I have a cat to look after, and 2. Jason has threatended to throw my stuff on the curb if I leave without it. Argh.

Jason got the phone working at least.
